 Working on Wikis

This term Form 6 are going to investigate Britain Since 1930: The Thirties.  

In 2007  Form 6  set up their own wiki space at whitby

In 2008 Form 6 set up a wiki space called sthida 

In 2009 Form 6  new wiki is called ammonite

Film company

A ghost story

Form 6 will set up four film companies. Each company will then make a storyboard, cast and then film, on location , a story about a ghost in the school.

Think.com

Year 6 are have created their own mini web site at Think.com . We will be part of a world wide team of children investigating all types of information.

Scratch

Scratch is such a fun way to write procedures by clicking together actions to make 'sprites' do exciting and very different  things . The finished scratch programmes are very funny.

  Power Point presentations 

 Creating superb Power Point presentations will be one of the challenges in the Form 6 ICT club sessions. Form 6 will also create power points in history.

Geography: Contrasting Localities

These power points have been well researched and presented in many exciting ways.

 At the beginning of term Form 6 will discussing all the safety issues connected with working on the Internet.

  Trading Talents radio station

Form 6 will learn how to produce perfect podcasts, they will sound like a BBC presenter when they record their exciting programmes. Please visit  Trading Talents   and listen to  podcasts about issues that  Form 6  and the rest of the school feel deeply about.
